| El Torre De Hercules is a Roman Lighthouse that was built even before Mary got pregnant. The precision with which the stones fit together is quite amazing. It's also surprising how well it has withstood the elements. It is still used as a lighthouse to this day. |

| The Plaza Maria Pita was dedicated to a 15th century heroine who fought off British invaders. The family name on my mother's side is Pita, so this heroine may have been my great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great grandmother. |
